Zippy Hangtime Gorilla

This is a Viking Gorilla. He likes playing basketball. I dubbed him Zippy.

This image has been serving me as desktop background quite a while now. I got the inspiration from NBA Hangtime, an epic arcade basketball game including burning balls, tackles and double-dunks. Breathtaking. The best part, hoewever, is the custom player creation where you are allowed to choose between all kinds of skind like giant chickens, werewolves and of course the gorilla. Then you could choose what the (by the way awesome) commentator shall call him. I found Zippy quite fitting.
Another thing woth mentioning about the game is that it had the official NBA license and consequently all the real NBA teams and players. Quite striking as it had only little to do with real basketball. Also, you could switch Dennis Rodman's hair color.
